My job in Massachusetts made me travel to Texas for business for 5 months. My wife went with me to Texas. While we were there she got a temporary job in Texas. Technically we lived in Massachusetts because I was on travel, but should she have to pay state income tax to Massachusetts for her income in Texas?

My boyfriend and I got an apartment. together we make $41,000 a year. He makes 35k on his own, and really, my salary varies working part time because I have a part time job, but also work with my dad seasonally.
But a rough estimate between 35 and 41k a year.

I am a 16 year old high school student living in Massachusetts. I haven’t had time to get my driver’s license (or learning permit) yet. However, I was wondering if people know of any good job opportunities for a kid my age. I was looking into trying to get a job at one of the Apple stores however due to certain Massachusetts labor laws they rarely hire under 18. I was wondering if there was a job that had the same direct interaction with computers or technology, a field I am very interested in. I want to earn some cash for myself so I don’t have to be completely reliant on my parents and when I finally get my license be able to put money towards the vehicle.

The Republican Party has asserted that Massachusetts voters were only reflecting the frustration among Americans with President Obama’s push for health-care reform, to the exclusion of job creation schemes.

I’m a college student and in my writing class I have an assignment of proofreading a short story by a fellow student, including story-line errors. In the story one of the main characters is a Detective Lieutenant in Massachusetts I think. There is a homicide/shooting in the story.

What exactly is a Detective Lieutenant’s job? Does he actually investigate a crime scene? Look at the body? Any details would be appreciated.
Also, are they considered high rank, especially if it’s a department in a capital city?
