When men and women and children came and settled to Massachusetts, what did they do in their spare time??

    They really didn’t have spare time. On Sunday, the one day off, they went to church and read the Bible. Even in the evenings, they would card wool or spin, they were working most of the time

    They slept, read out loud to others, or prayed. They had no time to spare as they were trying to survive. Even the children had chores. Once they moved past the first hard years, any extra time they had was used to make things to make life easier, to plant kitchen crops, or to barter for other goods. Barrels, utensils, farm implements, knitted or sewn items could be traded for extra food or household items. They didn’t have hobbies as we know them, they made things they could use.

    I am not sure, you can look up history about Boston on what the settlers did. I would just find a topic about it and read it.
