    Bird: Chickadee

    Mammal: Their state marine mammal is the right whale and their state domestic mammals are the morgan horse, tabby cat, and boston terrier

    Reptile: Garter Snake

    Tree: American Elm

    Famous People: John Adams, John Hancock, Edgar Allen Poe

    Massachusetts is known for all the witch trials that occured in Salem.

    Facts:
    The Basketball Hall of Fame is located in Springfield, Massachusetts

    Boston built the US’s first subway system in 1897
