Is there a difference between California and Massachusetts *** marriages?

Massachusetts
sonyab523 asked:

Are both states under the same terms? I was going to go to Cali to get married but if Massachusetts has exactly the same laws and stipulations regarding it then I would go there.

Cali has community property laws, Mass doesn’t. Pre-nup, people. Cover yourself.

under Mass you must live in the state for a number of years
california is open to all gays from all states. and since there is a law saying that each state must honor the others laws, if i living in texas go to california and *** marry, i can go back to texas and they’ll have to recognize the marriage. so California really makes it legal for all American Gays to marry

Not true for the answer above me(about recognizing laws) Other states do NOT have to recognize your marriage. I wish people would be better informed before answering questions. D.S.A was right on his answer : )
