My friend just got back from vacation in massachusetts, and he said that he witnesse a public paddling given as a punishment for breaking the law! He says that is very common in massachusetts, and that they have special platforms in town squares to paddle criminals on and hundreds of people come to watch! He also said they carry out paddlings at places like malls and airports! I don’t believe him, i didn’t think that was legal anywhere in the U.S. Is he telling the truth?
