I read the laws on knives, but being 16 years old translating legal speak is not exactly my strongest ability.

Thanks in advance.

The words “Dagger” “Dirk” and “Stiletto” in legal speak basically mean double edged knives. They also frequently are used to refer to fixed-blades with a single edge (even though us collectors know this is incorrect), that’s just how it gets enforced. Under MA law, these are illegal to carry on your person or in the passenger compartment of car. You can own them at home though.
