yep but two problems:

1) you have to either trailer transport it or obtain a Texas registration 1st to drive it to mass

2) You have to pay a substantial tax to mass to register it, and if its a used car, you have to have it inspected for emissions

PS you do not have to have a Texas driver’s license to register it in Texas. You do have to obtain a Texas driver’s license if you go beyond a certain time living in Texas I think its 60 days as I recall

Yes you can register your car in Massachusetts when you move back. You take the transferred title and bill of sale with you to register the car.

But you have to register the car and get a Texas driver’s license if you live in Texas longer than 30 days. It is the law unless you can prove permanent established residency in Massachusetts.

if you have a massachusetts drivers license there is no way you would be able to register the car in texas, to register a car there you would have had to have declared texas residency. Although, I readily admit that I would have expected taxes in Massachusetts to be much higher given your senators.
