How old do you have to get a lip piercing in Massachusetts ?

okay, well i’m 13 and i havnt told my mom (dad died) that i want my lip pierced and idk (i don’t know) if i should askk her and i really want to get itt pierced really soon! but yeah the question is how old do you have to be to get your lip pierced in Massachusetts?

ohh and i have braces too. (is that okay??)

    you can’t get any piercing with out parental consent until sixteen. i’m not sure though.

    but i strongly advise you against it. it ten years, when you have a huge scar on your face from where you got your lip pierced, you’ll be regretting it. you’re young. let life sink in a bit before you run around punching holes in your body.

    dont get one. it looks bad, youre 13, and your teachers will just yell anyways. and knowing a normal mom- she’d say no anyways! just get your ears pierced! AND sorry about your dad. =[
