I plan to move to Charleston, SC From Massachusetts but i need to know that i can get a quick job there first to move.
I’m search for a job in Certified Nursing Assistant.
In Massachusetts i just finish my technician college and i took the state test for CNA and i passed { I have my license for CNA but no experience yet } Basically is there any place that will hire me in these conditions, i plan to move to Charleston by July..If so please state them n please feel free to offer advice. I currently live in central Massachusetts and am looking to relocate in central southwestern Connecticut and I am not sure whether to establish residency in CT before I even find a job down there, or if I should make sure I have a job before I make the definite decision to move. There are pros and cons to both in my opinion. If I move without getting a job, how will I be sure I will find one soon enough to start paying bills etc. But if I get a job first and don’t have a place to stay, I would have to commute an hour and a half everyday just for a teaching job which doesn’t make much sense either.

What is the most reasonable way to relocate? What do the majority of people do? (I’m fresh out of college, on my own, and new at this, PLEASE HELP kindly!)

I am a new fairly new resident of St. Louis. I moved here back in May from the South Shore of Massachusetts. I am unable to find work in my field. I am a Senior Graphic Designer and I have sent out over 175 resumes prior to and since I’ve been here. I started studying graphics about 16 years ago when I started taking it at a vocational high school. After high school I went to a top design school in Boston for about 4 years where I recieved a certificate. I also have about 11 years of professional experience and yet every interview I go on I never get a call back. I have been offered a couple of jobs since I’ve been here but they paid next to nothing and they were just to far away to justify taking the jobs. Like I said I am a “Senior Designer” and I am looking for a certain amount of pay. People tell me to ask for less money (and I have just to get in somewhere). Sorry about the length but I wanted to explain the situation. Any suggestions would be great!

I’m 22 and work at a law firm in Massachusetts. It pays great (well, great to me is $500 a week after taxes). Some of the people I work with are cool, but for the most part, I work with a bunch of rich, spoiled, pompous, trust-fund babies; and I **** people like that!

I feel that life is too short to spend most of my time at a job which isn’t “me.”

Does anyone know what I can do for work which puts me around people more of my age? A place where I can have fun, be outgoing, have a little more excitement and still pay the bills (even if it’s a little bit of a pay cut from where I’m working now)?

I’m 15 I need a job like asapp . I live in Massachusetts around Revere , Lynn , Saugus ( only if your like actually going to look up a job for me that’ll be cool ) I know I can try Stop and shop ( grocery store ) but I can only work for 3 hours and not have a whole entire day shift , and if I work at like PriceRite , Market Basket ( anouther grocery store[s])I can work for all of them for all different hrs of the day but if they find out I can ge like fired ? So anyone know a job I can actually work for ?

Ok. I am requesting a leave of absence because my childs daycare is closing and so I am left with no childcare thats affordable to me at this time. I will have to take a leave from work to be able to find him good childcare at a rate that i can afford. The thing is that what if it takes me a longer time to do this and I have to end up voluntarily quiting my job? Will I be still eligible for unemployment. I am in Massachusetts. Anyone know? I live in Massachusetts. I was out on Maternity Leave and after my son was born, I was suffering from Postpartum Depression. My doctor signed me out on Disability and I have been collecting disability benefits from a private policy since then. I recently found out that since my FMLA ran out, my employer will not be holding my job for me. I do not know when I will be released by my doctor to return to work so it is not feasible to apply for jobs now and hope the timing works out. My question is that when my doctor finally releases me and says I am able to work, since I no longer have a position at my job will I be able to collect unemployment benefits while I try and find a new job?
