I have never been super-girly or trendy. Sure, I wear some makeup, but I don’t really know how to do it well and buy only drugstore brands. I wear toenailpolish but I’ve never had a pedicure or manicure.

I don’t have any super-girly friends to turn to for advice. I am entering a new job and I want to look the best I can.

I drool over those makeover shows on TV (not Extreme Makeover, but like the stuff on Style network.) Hair, makeup and clothes make SUCH a huge difference in the look of a person, I am dying for that kind of makeover but I don’t know where to turn.

I live in Western Massachusetts but I could travel to Boston or Hartford. Where could I go to get professional consulting or help for a makeover including hair, how to do makeup, maybe some help to pick out flattering and stylish clothes?
