I know that “it is illegal to use or posses in-helmet speakers” in the state of Massachusetts, however is that just to address listening to iPods and such, or does it also include systems allowing you to communicate with your passenger? Would an “earbud” be considered a speaker for legal reasons?

I am wanting to get a motorcycle to keep Citgo from taking all of my pension money- Massachusetts is **** as to what is allowed and not allowed, so ugh.
I can not find the answer to save my life, hopefully you all can help.
