Sometime in the future I would like to go into politics and run for Massachusetts’ Governor. How would I do it?

Today’s news is that Massachusetts wants to borrow money from the federal government in order to pay their bills. What happened? I thought the governor, Mitt Romney, was known for his fiscal acumen. Maybe he’s not the governor any more. If he is not the current governor of Massachusetts, maybe they ought to invite him back.
