My boyfriend and I have decided that Dallas sounds nice.

Massachusetts doesn’t have anything to offer either of us anymore. Its too fast paced and we cannot afford to live here.

Neither of us have ever been to Texas. Or anywhere even remotely CLOSE to Texas. This is a spur of the moment thing – we’re selling all of our crap and leaving this hellhole.

How is Dallas? Jobs? (He is an electrician, I am a dog groomer) Public transportation? The average price for a decent 1-2 bedroom apartment?

Also – we have about $6000. Will this be enough to move across the country and sustain us until we find jobs and an apartment?
