    No. Same *** marriage is not recognized for purposes of immigration.

    Marriage to a US citizen, regardless of sexual orientation does not constitute automatic citizenship.

    I’d say no. Visa is a fed thing. The same-sex unions is an individual state thing.

    However, it took a Supreme Court ruling in the 20th cent. to determine a divorce granted in Nevada was legal and binding in Massachusetts.

    No, not at this point. Under US immigration law, same *** marriages cannot be used as a basis for any immigration benefits. maybe at some point, US law will become more progressive in this area, but not any time soon.
