I know it ‘ s not the best job to apply for but i need something for Christmas time :[
I just want to now how much they pay . I live in Massachusetts if that helps a little bit .
If you know any other places that will hire 15 year olds , that would be great also.
-thanks .
I worked for this supermarket chain in Massachusetts as a Seafood Manager for 16 yr. In 2005 and in the previous years, I had great performance reviews, but last year I did not have a good one (This was the first time I was rated under-performance). As a result, I was transfered to a new store. My new boss never gave the chance to prove that I could perform better than last year. The HR person even told me that it happened before: “Everyone who comes to his store in this situation will always be an underperformer in his eyes.”
I just got tired of him telling me how much I stunk, all the time. I even asked for a transfer, but he denied, so I quit.
Actually, I asked to go part-time and work for a different store -same chain- until find something else. When my manager-to-be called my former one, he must have trashed me, because I haven’t heard anything about the part-time job.
Question: When I get a new job, will my former manager be able 2 give bad references? Can he do that?
I am actually changing my career. Next month I will graduate and get my Masters in Business Administration degree and want to get good references, since I don’t have any office work experience.
I notice my former boss started treating me worse when he found out I was going to school. One day, he saw me reading a book in the lunchroom at my lunch time and asked me if I was going to school. That’s when I told him.
After that, he changed and sometines told me I was dedicating myself more to my studies than to my work. I never even read my books or did my homework during company time.
What should I write in my job applications when they ask for my reason for leaving?
He has declared bankruptcy and has had meeting( I think its called a “meeting of creditors”). He has been looking for a job so he can pay a fee to have the warrant removed. Will a warrant (non-criminal warrant) in Massachusetts show up on a cori check if a employer checks his background ?

I am currently in school right now pursing my bachelors degree in elementary education with a double major of social studies and language arts. I am about two years away from graduating and most likely will have to leave the state to find a job because of the loss of teaching jobs in Michigan. I want to teach in a inner city school and am considering moving to Boston, Massachusetts. Would my license be adequate or do I have to take the Massachusetts state tests or can I prove that I have the right requirements?
Please only reply if you really know or are currently a teacher in Massachusetts.
I’m currently on unemployment in Massachusetts. I plan to relocate to another state (NY or DC/VA) to look for a job. Will I still be eligible for the unemployment benefit after I move?
