Ok so i got layed of from my last job and i do not have a job yet. I did not work 40 hours a week every week. I worked their for almost a year before it closed down can i collect unemployment in Massachusetts?

I am about to turn fourteen and I would like a job at a place such as mcdonalds, dunkin donuts, or basically any food, clothing or grocery store. Any ideas??
