I am a CPA in Western Massachusetts and had worked for a CPA/Tax Preparation firm. My boss informed me on Friday that he had just sold the firm, and the new owners would not be retaining my services. I am looking to remain in the Western MA area, but would be willing to relocate for the right opportunity. I have 24 years experience in accounting, have been a CPA for the last 10 years, and have about 10 years in banking, 10 years in Tax Prep/CPA firms, also 3 years in manufacturing in an accounting capacity. I’d appreciate any sincere answers, or suggestions as to finding a new job.
