ok i was caught shoplifting at target and i payed the fine and they said the incident was only between everyone in the room and the store i want to know if it would come up in a backround check for a job application because the item was under 30$ and i payed the fine and i live in MA Massachusetts’s and i dont know what would happen like if it would appear in the check or not i really need to know.

I heard about the politician who made this comment and I was curious as to what other people make of it. Now, I’m an openly *** male, in my twenties living in Massachusetts. I’m getting married in August. Now, I’m very happy, I’m just like any other human being. I have a good job, I think I treat everyone pretty equally, I pay tax, I have a loving family, I don’t have a judgemental bone in my body. Now do I sound like a terrorist?

I graduated with a bachelors in History in 2006 — took a non-education job (that I hated) and wound up getting my teaching license (massachusetts) in August 2008. Here’s my problem, all through High School and College I ALWAYS worked 1 or 2 retail or food service jobs to pay for school. Working so much also had a pretty strong impact on my grades — my final GPA of 2.67 is nothing fantastic. Because of my GPA I did not get into grad school and now I’ve been out of school so long I no longer can get into contact with the professors I did well with to get reference letters.

I essentially have no teaching experience aside from substitute teaching which I have done since october of 2008. My professional references are from the restaurant I have been working in for the past 2.25 years. Unfortunately I have yet to get a long-term sub job or work in one school long enough to really get to know anyone.

Every time I go to fill out an application or send in a resume I get really down on myself because I know that the job market is really competitive right now. My room mate has much better grades and a masters and she dosen’t have a full-time job either… Do I have any business trying to be a teacher?

I’m also finding that I am a bit of a push-over and not all that great with dicipline, I don’t want to do the students a diservice, but I really **** yelling… someone please tell me there is a way to get students motivated and doing what they are suposed to without being a screaming banshee?

The positive side is that I am dedicated, love helping people, and I am generally well liked by people. Long hours don’t bother me, and I love History and Japanese (my subjects).

Well my husband is in AIT/job school, and as he is prior service this is not our first pcs and they will be moving our stuff from my parent’s house in Central Massachusetts. I live in Massachusetts. I was out on Maternity Leave and after my son was born, I was suffering from Postpartum Depression. My doctor signed me out on Disability and I have been collecting disability benefits from a private policy since then. I recently found out that since my FMLA ran out, my employer will not be holding my job for me. I do not know when I will be released by my doctor to return to work so it is not feasible to apply for jobs now and hope the timing works out. My question is that when my doctor finally releases me and says I am able to work, since I no longer have a position at my job will I be able to collect unemployment benefits while I try and find a new job?

My partner just recently moved to New York and I live in Massachusetts. I was so worried about him cheating on me that I made a fake myspace account with fake pictures and tried to see if he would play along. What happened was is that he caught me because I accidentally put my zip code in which revealed it was me. I apologized a million times and said I was sorry. There’s not much else I can do. I really am sorry for what I did, but I really love him and I want to know what I can do that will make him forgive me. PLEASE HELP!!
